As in many parts of the developing world, in the Caribbean it is not uncommon to find neglected and abused animals in areas of high poverty. There are very few organisations that work to rescue and rehabilitate animals that suffer.
Volunteer by helping injured, abandoned and stray animals and provide them with food and love, medical treatment and also assist by arranging adoptive services. Volunteers also support animal owners to better care for their pets by creating and delivering educational workshops.
This is a excellent opportunity for animal lovers, and those interested in or currently pursuing animal care or veterinary medicine.
