Full time Academic Director required for a private school located in central Moscow, from £1850 – £3700 per month. Start ASAP.

A highly professional private school located in central Moscow is seeking an Academic Director to oversee a team of 35 tutors currently providing a range of tuition to their clients.

The school provides 1:1 tuition to students ranging in age and offer subject tuition in Maths, English, English Literature, Science, Physics, History, Business and Economics.

Most students are studying towards entry into private schools abroad and therefore knowledge of 11+, SSAT, TOEFL, IELTS and entry exams is desirable.

As an Academic Director you will be responsible for managing the tutors, over seeing their work – mentoring, guiding and advising. You will offer training, develop new courses, recommend materials and hold reports on each tutor and their students.

The ideal candidate will already be located in Moscow (candidates outside of Russia will still be considered). Experience within school environments is very important, ideally teachers who have held senior roles within schools previously. The candidate should be highly educated and hold a minimum teaching qualification (PGCE/DELTA).

Candidates who are educated from top boarding schools and universities are preferred.

Package:

Salary of £1850 – £3700 per month

Requirements:

Qualified, experienced Director (minimum PGCE/QTS/DELTA/Ma in Ed.)
Confident in managing a team of 35 tutors
Professional, well mannered, highly educated
Knowledge of 11+, SSAT, TOEFL, IELTS and entry exams is desirable
Available to start ASAP
