TEACHING INFORMATION
Location: Kaohsiung
Teaching hour: Mon-Fri 7:40 am-4:30 pm, 24 class weekly, 40-50 min per class
Class description: 25-40 students, G1-6
Curriculum: English Village (Scenario Teaching), Subject Teaching
SALARY & WELFARE
Contract period: Jan.-Dec. 2013, renewable, Work permit & ARC provided
Monthly salary: $62720 NTD (around $2090 USD)
Monthly costs of living (food, rent, transportation, etc.) in Taiwan is around $700-900 USD
Housing allowance: $5000 NTD (around $170 USD)
General monthly rent in Taiwan is around $200-400 USD
Performance bonus: Around one month salary, by proportion of actual working months
Airfare reimbursement: $40000 NTD for round-trip (around $1300 USD)
Paid vacation: Annual leave 10 days & Chinese New Year for Winter vacation
Labor and health insurance: Available
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-English native-speaker from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland
-4 years of Bachelor’s degree or higher
-Teaching license (certified for k-12 public school)
-MARC/APRC holders are also accepted
