Volunteer teachers wanted for new school in Uganda – Kids of Africa
We are looking for volunteer teachers to teach English, Maths and general studies at a new exciting school in Uganda. If you have an interest of sport that would be great!
Looking for volunteers to commit to the school until the end of November as a minimum, the end of the school year here in Uganda.
The school has been open since February and part of “Kids of Africa” a local children’s home taking care of 93 abandoned children who are accommodated in 10 homes with foster mothers caring for them.
Kids of Africa is a Swiss African Children’s village located in Bwerenga, Wakiso District, which is half way between Kampala and Entebbe on the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria.

There are a number of other volunteers at the orphanage at present from a number of other countries and accommodation and basic food is provided for all.
The school is a primary school, 7 classes (120 Kids) and up to class P7 which is 14 years old.
As sport is a major part of the orphanage/school we like to have our children and other local children to be exposed to as many types as possible, currently playing Tag Rugby and winning trophies all around Uganda.
