We are an equestrian tourism centre in the beautiful rural West of Ireland, build around a lovingly restored old stone cottage. Each week we have a group of international tourist coming to spend their riding holidays with us.
For the summer season (from late June to end of September) we are looking for someone to cook for our guests – mainly 5 days a week. We are looking for someone who basically knows how to cook, but not to worry – we have recipes and a set menu here.
You have to be mature and able to work independently, as you would be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner; there would be somebody to help you around the kitchen, with serving and with tidying up. You would learn how to make our traditional Irish soda bread. Some days, when there are few or no guests staying, you would help with the laundry and have some free time to enjoy our area and to visit other parts of Ireland.
You would be staying in a private bedroom in our house with it’s own bathroom. Your accommodation and meals are in exchange for your cooking work. We pay EUR200 per week and we also offer free horse riding.
