Chief Instructor Position – Royal Selangor olo club RIDING SCHOOL
The candidate should:
Have at least 5 years’ experience as Instructor in Riding School or Competitions Yard BHS or EA. Have established knowledge on Horsemanship with particular emphasis on Animal Welfare.
Qualifications: L1 NCAS EA/MEM or BHS II.
Job Description:
Organize and schedule lesson plans suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.
Train horses and riders. Train thoroughbred or young horses.
Organize the monthly competitions with the Equestrian Member of the Club.
Have knowledge of Basic Equine First Aid.
Prepare and maintain up to date reports on Rider/Horse development and progress
Prepare and monitor basic budgets for operations of the Riding School.
Horse Feed Charts and necessary changes based on workload, age, size etc. of horses. Shoeing, Veterinary etc.
Schedule off season for horses and progressive schooling of all horses and riders
Allot horses according to rider level, size and experience.
Ability to work as a Team and Lead the Full Time Instructors and Part Time Instructors, Administration Clerk and liaise with the Club Management and Equestrian Member to meet the Set Targets of Rider and Horse Development as well as Profitability of the Division.
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and local market standards.
The candidate shall report to the Equestrian Member and/or Club Manager.
