HONDURAS / Volunteer Latin America
This project provides a high-quality, affordable bilingual education to a local community that is not available through the local public school system. The school is currently recruiting volunteer teachers for the upcoming school year starting in August 2013 and ending in June 2014. Volunteers are needed to teach various classes such as English, maths, science, art, and physical education. All volunteer taught classes are conducted in English, so Spanish-language skills are not required. Similarly, while experience in education is undoubtedly beneficial, prior teaching experience is not required.
Volunteers receive free accommodation throughout their stay and lunch on school days.
