New Zealand’s Early Childhood Education curriculum (known as Te Whāriki) is a hands-on learning experience for children which focusses on well-being and communication, building positive relationships, and encouraging learning through exploration. As an Au Pair, you can use your knowledge and expertise to extend a child’s understanding of who they are, and shape the person they will become.
You will have access to professional development and training from Au Pair Link’s team of qualified Early Childhood teachers – while still remaining responsible for your child’s learning and development. In addition, Au Pair Link organises weekly playgroups, child outings and provides you with all the educational resources you need for a successful term with your children – all free of charge!

Your requirements
• A 6 – 12 month working holiday visa
• 200+ hours (minimum) documented childcare experience
• A clean police and medical record
• A valid driver’s licence
• Be able to communicate in English
