Come and live in Sunny Madrid, Spain and be an English Language Assistant. We find you free accommodation and full board with a lovely Spanish family in return for helping them with their English for just a few hours a day.
This is an unpaid position but you get FULL BOARD and FREE ACCOMMODATION and you get to experience and immerse yourself within a real Spanish lifestyle.

Positions last from 1 – 3 months and you are expected to help your Spanish family’s children with their English for 15 hours a week Monday to Friday. This could be helping them with their English homework, helping them to revise for their exams, playing games and activities or just general conversation.
Our service also includes a welcome reception and training in Madrid. It’s an opportunity to find out what to expect during your stay. We also provide you with a starter pack containing games and ideas to help you out. In addition we provide you access to our member’s area where you can find further downloadable activities.
You also get 25% off Spanish classes at a local Spanish academy; perfect for those who would like to immerse themselves even further into the Spanish lifestyle. We understand that it can sometimes be a little daunting arriving to a new city so we are also providing a tapas tour during your stay so you can meet other like-minded people.
For our service we charge a small programme fee payable only after we have found you a suitable family. Please note we cannot always guarantee a place with a family on your desired start date.
Due to the nature of the voluntary position Spanish families have a preference for those whose first language is English. You also have to be at least 18 and have plenty of enthusiasm helping children.
This may suit school and university leavers looking to enhance their CV or Spanish.
