Volunteers are needed to participate in various community development, conservation and professional internship programmes across Argentina. Projects are located in the capital Buenos Aires, La Quiaca, Bariloche, Iguazu and across the border in Bolivia.

The programmes you can apply for are dependent on your Spanish level.
Dates
You can join these projects year round, for 2 week up to 12 weeks. Please check each individual project description for minimum durations
Lodging
Most volunteers choose to stay in the volunteer guest house, located in Buenos Aires. The guest house is available for all projects, and also acts as a social and communications hub for all volunteers. It is also somewhere for communication and ideas exchange to take place, and also serves as a venue for lectures, talks and film screenings.
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers should be aged 18 and over, flexible, and willing to adapt to a new culture. The programmes are dependent on Spanish level, so volunteers will need to speak at least basic Spanish. Also, most of the professional internships require either some relevant experience or a strong motivation in that area e.g. radio, health, graphic design.
Costs
For all volunteer programmes, the costs are as follows; 2 weeks is £485, 4 weeks is £645, 8 weeks is £925 and 12 weeks is £1245. For every extra week, the cost is £80. For the professional internship programmes, the cost is £1025 for 8 weeks, and £1325 for 12 weeks.
This cost includes volunteer placement, accommodation in the volunteer house in a shared room, airport pick up on arrival, permanent training and volunteer coordination, and support from our partner organisation in Argentina. What is not included is your flights and travel to and from Buenos Aires, visa costs, personal expenses, and your own health and travel insurance.
