Urgently needed by a local Maldivian company, is an International Sign Language trainer. The Maldives uses a ‘local’ form of signing, and whilst it’s served the communities very well thus far, there are limitations this brings when youngsters try to enter the work place after school.
As a forward thinking and very successful construction company, they would love to have a volunteer come and train some of the young local people who want to enter the industry and interact with the business world outside of the Maldives. For them to develop in this area, they must be able to use the international signing method. The aim also would be to train other signers this system, so eventually it can be brought more widely into the Maldivian community.

This is a FREE volunteering opportunity, however minimum length of stay is 3 months, but ideally 6 months.
