FIJI / SPCA Fiji Islands
This is a lifestyle opportunity to be the permanent Vet at the Nadi SPCA clinic for a minimum period of 6 months.
The Clinic is open to the public 4 and a half days a week, and a basic service and small shelter facility is maintained by two vet nurses 7 days a week.
The Vet would be required to work during public opening hours, and very occasionally out of hours, there is no shift work.
There may be occasionally island clinics conducted, and de-sexing at other main centers within the West of the Main Island.
The suitable candidate needs to be a good all rounder, surgically and clinically and at times innovative.
There is a large portion of de-sexing, but also exposure to skin conditions, ear problems, heartworm, internal and external parasitic issues, and gastrointestinal problems.
Accommodation will be provided, along with a basic remuneration for living expenses. A part or full contribution towards flights will be available depending on the period of time committed to this role and point of origin.
There are other perks available as part of this package.
