Hilt supports adults with learning difficulties to live independently in East London.
Volunteers support people with learning difficulties with household tasks, such as cleaning and cooking, as well as with social and leisure activities that the person enjoys, for example playing sport or going to the cinema. Volunteers also share a house with the individuals they support.
We are looking for people who speak a reasonable level of English, are patient, have good communication skills and want to support people with live independently and make their own decisions.
We offer accommodation with utility bills paid, training, support and a weekly living allowance.
