PGCE qualified teachers required to teach Maths, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at IGCSE and A level. Other subject specialists may also be considered.
Geometric is looking for highly motivated and competent teachers who can use their initiative to help establish an institute for supplementary education. Most of the students at Geometric are from the UK and currently attend British schools in Doha, Qatar. Our objective as an institute is to help students progress with their studies by addressing each students individual curricula needs. To achieve this effectively, we work with small groups of five students using our personalised learning programmes.
Teachers will be required to devise and deliver programmes of study as well as advise on the purchase of resources.
The position necessitates a flexible and committed individual who is dedicated to the progress of the students.
Remunerations include a competitive tax-free salary, an accommodation allowance, a transport allowance, annual flight tickets, and an end of service gratuity. CPD is highly encouraged and where appropriate, opportunities will be made available.
Unlike many parts of the Middle East, Qatar is a stable and very secure place to live. The majority of the population consists of expatriates with a sizeable proportion of Britons. Qatar has also been nominated as the host nation for the 2022 Football World Cup. In preparation for this, much of the infrastructure is being developed up to international standards.
