UK / Borders Environmental Education Services
Our holidays will be delivered using the Discovery – John Muir Award, so the working week (5 days, with a day off), will be split up into different types of work, such as biological / habitat surveying, conservation work, walks and talks.
We will be working with different bodies, during the week, such as the: Natural England (who manage Lindisfarne NNR); and the National Trust (who manage Low Newton, Dunstanburgh Castle); and working with Bamburgh Castle.
The cost will be £200, payable in advance and will include:-
* All food (it will be group catering, cooking from fresh daily)
* Accommodation, which will be a Bunkhouse, that has an open fire, hot showers and local walks on its doorstep
* Transport, we will be traveling about in a minibus
* All training and tools to take part in the activities
* John Muir Award Certification (Discovery Award)
