Turkey / Fairy Chimney Hotel

The wonderful surprise about Cappadocia is that the surreal landscape can start the moment we wake and stare at our cave ceiling. It can still be there when we head out the door for breakfast, accompany us down the road to the centre of town, before unveiling itself fully in the surrounding countryside.
Unlike other spectacular landscapes around the world Cappadocia doesn’t end when we retire back to our accommodation for the night. It follows us back there and shapes itself into our hotel.
We recently spent some time in Goreme where we learned the Cappadocia Academy, owners of the Fairy Chimney Inn, are looking for a volunteer to both help out around the hotel and to implement a small cultural project.
