We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for global responsibility, who can promote GVI’s amazing work online. This is not just merely a “product” but something that is super cool. Working with the Marketing Team, you will gain a fantastic insight into the online world by promoting GVI programs in a unique and exciting way. You will learn about the inner workings of the internet, SEO and the on-going and constant developments of online marketing. This is an exciting field to be working in and you will gain a huge range of skills and experience!

Every year over 3000 volunteers join programs from 1 week to over 1 year. Responsibilities

Create, upload, maintain and manage online content
Monitor and analyse web activity
Following up on marketing opportunities
Helping deal with all GVI volunteers
Assist with phones
Respond to email inquiries
Liaise with other GVI offices
Liaising with GVI’s partners and expedition staff
Specifics dependent on skills and needs of the wider team

Qualifications & Skills Required

Computer literate
Creativity in your thinking
Interest in technology, the internet and social media
Ability to initiate conversation through online channels
Interest in volunteering/travelling
Passion for GVI and for our projects
Administrative experience
Minimum 18 years old
Good grasp of written and spoken English

Qualifications & Skills Desired

Previous volunteering experience
Understanding of social networking and social media marketing
