Sunborn Yacht hotel London is a 108-metre floating hotel incorporating 136 spacious guest rooms – all with bespoke furnishings – plus an elegant restaurant, lounge bar, day spa and events suite offering expansive views of Canary Wharf. The Yacht is located in Royal Victoria Dock just opposite the Excel exhibition centre.
Sunborn London is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Supervisor.
You will be responsible for managing 100 seats cocktail lounge with 30 al fresco seats. You will also be responsible of leading a team of up to 10 team members.
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
-Previous 4 or 5 start hotel experiences in similar kind of role.
-Natural leadership and can do attitude.
-Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to train and coach a large team.
-First class planning and organisational skills.
-Ability to manage effectively a 100 seats cocktail bar.
-Advanced mixology skills.
-· Have experience of maximising revenue and creating promotional plans.
· Develop and lead a strong team, through training, motivating and creating succession planning.
-Good knowledge of international cocktails and wines.
-Good knowledge of Windows and Office application, the Internet and email.
-Proficient in implementing Health and Safety procedures.
