Mnarani Primary School is located in the coastal area of Kilifi on the Indian Ocean about 40 Km north of Mombasa in Kenya. Due to staff shortages and large class sizes there is an urgent need for teachers in Maths, Science and English for pupils aged from 5 to 15. It is not necessary to be a qualified teacher but candidates should be educated to degree level or equivalent with good communication skills with a genuine desire to help the children of the school and capable of integrating into the local culture.
There is no charge but participants would be expected to fund their own travel and living costs which are not expensive.
