SOUTH AFRICA SWAZILAND / Global Vision International
This three-month program takes you to volunteer in two countries: South Africa and Swaziland. On arrival you will spend a week on safari in Kruger National Park before starting your volunteering in Swaziland. During your time in Swaziland you will spend a further week exploring the coast of Mozambique, visiting local markets and enjoying water sports. After you finish in Swaziland you will take a guided trip down the coastline of South Africa to Cape Town where you will volunteer for the remainder of your program.
In Swaziland you will assist locally run care centers to care for vulnerable children and orphans and there are opportunities to teach at local under-resourced, under-funded primary schools. Similarly, in South Africa volunteers have the option of teaching in local schools or working at childcare centers that provide care and education for disadvantaged children, many of whom are from broken families as a result of the AIDS pandemic.
