BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS / Cooper Island Beach Club
Boutique Manager is responsible for purchasing and vendor communication, stock control and merchandising, staff supervision and customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures correct implementation of company’s procedures regarding promotions, marketing and merchandising;
• Manage, train and develop the retail team to maximise results and meet the company’s standards of quality and targets;
• Ensure constant stock control through adherence to established protocols and develop additional loss-prevention protocols where needed;
• Develop project plans and organises own and staff’s workload on a weekly time scale;
• Interprets sales data to plan and implement actions to enhance any revenue- generating opportunity;
• Monitors current trends and work with management to bring in new product lines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Fluent oral and written English. Any additional language is considered an advantage.
• At least 3 years retail experience in hospitality or cruise ship industry.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and colleagues to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
• Knowledge of POS and inventory software
