Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa (VPWA) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit NGO based in Ghana.
VPWA is currently recruiting Engineers, Planners and Architects.
This opportunity is open both for professionals in these fields as well as Architecture or Engineering students.
Candidates are required to commit for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Other general requirements:
• At least age 18 (no maximum age limit);
• Good knowledge of English language
• Strong commitment to values and principles of volunteerism;
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to adjust in difficult living and working conditions;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Project fee: 400 EUR per month.
Fees include:
– Accommodation and meals.
– Airport Pick Up.
– Placement
– 24 hour support contact services
– Pre-departure Orientation.
– Mobile phone SIM card number.
– Accra City tour
– Internet access (at VPWA’s HQ).
– Certificate of Recognition and an opportunity to serve as a VPWA ambassador in your city, college or community.
