We are a country inn and restaurant with accommodation at the foot of Mt. Snowdon in Wales. We are looking for a sous chef or chef de partie with experience to join our energetic team.
We serve freshly cooked food with an emphasis on quality and local ingredients.
The successful applicant needs to have good communication and organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure, and to take full control when head chef is not present.
They would be responsible for the running of the mains section as well as being conversant in all menu items including stock levels and orders, ensuring deliveries are checked and received correctly. They would also be preparing and cooking all menu items to a high standard providing train ing to the younger members of the team. Patience is essential.
Live in accomodation can be provided: this would be in our staff house in the village which includes meals on duty and services included
