Secondary School, located in the city of Cascavel (State of Paraná), Brazil, is currently seeking native-speaker of English to teach Brazilian students in a dual-curriculum project.
Requirements:
– College degree in any area of study, issued by an accredited higher education institution, located in an English-speaking country.
– English as a Second Language teaching experience (desirable).
– Valid documents for temporary/permanent residence in Brazil.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
– Teach groups of up to 20 students, ages 13-16, in an ESL environment, helping them through activities that include reading, writing, presenting, and debating.
– Plan lessons to meet the curriculum goals and provide excellent
educational opportunities to all students.
– Communicate with a program supervisor, on a frequent basis, regarding planning, student activities and other pertinent situations.
– Work cooperatively with other teachers, and administrators, developing additional materials to supplement the program curriculum, whenever necessary.
The candidate should be available to start in February 2017.
