Due to rapid expansion, a well regarded secondary school in Abuja Nigeria is seeking qualified secondary heads of department in the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Science and Economics/Business Studies.
The school is set within 8 hectares of beautiful land the newly formed capital city of Abuja. It offers a caring environment in which high academic standards are attained with a strong emphasis being placed upon “all-round” education. This is delivered not only through a lively and dynamic curriculum that is broad and balanced but also through a wide variety of extra-curricular activities.
Teaching and learning takes place within superb facilities including a floodlit football pitch, short course Olympic swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, ICT suites with high speed internet access, state of the art science and language laboratories and fully equipped air conditioned classrooms. Applicants will have management experience, the flexibility, adaptability and tenacity to work in an overseas environment, and enjoy working in a boarding school. They will also be expected to lead and support their teaching colleagues in current international teaching and curriculum trends.
Initial contracts are for two years and include a competitive tax-free salary, free accommodation, annual air-ticket, medical insurance and relocation allowance.
