Guest Relations Manager (Live In)


UK / Newgale Lodge

This is a diverse job at a Pembrokeshire bunkhouse venue. The role is predominantly guest facing but also requires some additional site duties.

Main Responsibilities

Meeting and Greeting. You will oversee guest arrivals and will be responsible for dealing with any problems that arise.

Bar Duties. You will be required to run the guest bar.

Security. Your position is live in, and you will be the main point of contact for guests in an emergency and out of hours.

Services. You will support the guest services that we have on site. This will include lighting and running the outdoor pizza oven, transporting guests and providing breakfast hampers for guests.

Site Duties. You will be responsible for keeping the site looking its best. This will include grass cutting, tidying BBQ and fire pit areas, ordering waste collections. During low season this will include some general maintenance and decorating of lodge buildings.

Change Overs. You will be responsible for undertaking some cleaning duties to prepare the Lodges and communal areas for new guest arrivals.

Days and hours of work will require seasonal flexibility but will typically include a 35 hour week from Thursday to Tuesday. Specific hours will need to suit booking requirements and high season may include additional hours.

Requirements
Hospitality experience
A full, clean driving licence (ability to drive a minibus or take a test)
An ability to work on own initiative
A neat and well groomed appearance Flexibility
A practical and hands on approach
Fluent communication skills
Hold, or undertake, a successful DBS check
Full flexibility in terms of working hours and patterns
Eligible to live and work in the UK, without restrictions.
