NORTH CYPRUS / Mountain View Hotel
Must be available for a minimum period of 6 weeks during summer. Accommodation provided (at no charge) at the Mountain View Hotel. Accommodation will be shared with other applicants for these positions. Previous experience is beneficial, but not necessary.
Staff food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be available on most days. A staff discount of 50% will be provided on items from bar menu.
Position is full time, with a chance to extend stays into the autumn student season (which is still hot!) if looking for a more permanent position – this will depend on performance.
Shifts are 8 hours/day and are normally at night (e.g. 19:00 to 03:00). Night shifts mean you can easily go to the beach/pool/town during the day to relax and catch some sun.
£80 per week + good tips + sales commission. (Please note, with accommodation and meals provided this is excellent money for north Cyprus. Pound to Turkish Lira exchange is very good).
Our bar is a family run establishment (as is the hotel which are connected). The family is half British and half Cypriot, and lived in the UK for 20+ years before moving to Cyprus. We will be happy to help arrange trips to Ayia Napa, Limassol, Famagusta at the end of each month.
We are a very international bar and have staff and customers from around the world (from Cameroon through to Russia). It is a fun and lively place to work that provides a fantastic experience for those looking to travel and meet people over the summer. An excellent understanding of English is preferred.
