BrightSpark Teachers are recruiting a qualified Primary Teacher to teach in an International School in Sendai City Japan. The school is a diverse learning environment with over 20 nationalities teaching and learning every day. The school is based in Sendai City which is based about 1-2 hours by the JR Tohoku Shinkansen.
The school has a safe, healthy and nurturing environment that reflects the schools purpose and is characterised by respect for differences, trust, caring, professionalism, support and high expectations for each student. The staff at the school also enjoy providing a range of extra-curricular activities to students within their own personal tastes from arts, music, language or environment related programs. The high standards of the school are acknowledged by the Kanagawa and Miyagi Prefectural Governments as well as WASC and ECIS.
The school teaches K-12. The School has some fantastic facilities including a Playground, Gymnasium, Library, Art Centre, ICT Centre and Music Centre.
The Pre-School Teacher should have 3 years experience teaching in a Pre-school or Kindergarten setting preferably with lower years. The Candidate should hold a Bachelor in pre-school or Kindergarten or equivalent and a valid teaching license from the teachers own country. Candidates should be a native English speaker. The school provides and excellent salary and benefits package for the right candidate and hopes to attract a Candidate with excellent qualifications and a passion for educating.
Salary: JPY 3.5M – 4M p.a.
Duration: 1 year with opportunity to renew
