BrightSpark Teachers are recruiting an A level Biology and Chemistry teacher to teach in Beijing from September 2016. The school are looking for a hard working team player with a passion for educating. The applicant should be able to successfully teach Biology and Chemistry and deliver related subjects at A-level, using English as the medium of curriculum delivery. Drafting lesson plans on a regular basis with a clear indication of the targeted learning outcomes and relevant teaching methods is a requirement for this A level Biology and Chemistry teacher position. Other duties include: assigning and correcting appropriate homework and providing guidance to students, keeping accurate student assessment records and preparing student reports, participating in and organising extracurricular activities and working cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments. For career progression and development there are regular workshops available.
The school follows the Cambridge International Examinations syllabus, specialising in full-time education, at iGCSE And A Level. The centre is dedicated to cultivating “the spirit of science, humanities and physical fitness”.
The applicant should be an A level Biology and Chemistry teacher with two years of experience or more. They should demonstrate a high level of commitment to teaching excellence and understand the importance of being a team player. Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree or above in the relevant subject and a teaching qualification is preferred but not mandatory. If the candidate does not hold a teaching certificate they must have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
Salary: CNY 21000 – 28000 p.m
