Our home is built into the side of a hill and was originally dug out by hand, which is why it has rough rocky walls. It does have all necessary modern facilities now – water, electricity, satellite tv, internet, and wood burner. Water, though, must be used with care as it is not piped, but from the fuente from which our deposit gets topped up once a month. We Do Not have a pool! It is only accessible via the Rambla, a dry (usually) riverbed! The house has an upstairs bedroom and bathroom, with kitchen, shower room, utility room downstairs. The hall leads into cave rooms – dining, lounge, and bedroom. We’ll need sitters again later this Summer and are keen to find sitters for both.
