We are a 17 bedroom Family run Hotel based in Riederalp at 1950 meters with a 70 cover Restaurant and 40 cover Terrace in the car-free Resort of the Aletsch Arena in Wallis, Switzerland. A great place for golf, walking, mountain biking and paragliding.
Profile: Someone from within the European Union. An individuals who is Motivated, can work Independently and within a Team and who has previous experience in Hotels and Restaurants. The role also requires the candidate to be able to speak German, although not essential.
Head Chef Role:
Full responsibility for the day to day kitchen operations including (but not limited to), Day to day menu’s, liaising directly with the owner(s) regarding all operational matters and kitchen Budget, supply chain management including ordering twice a week, maintaining and driving standards incl Food Safety, Health & Safety and assisting with daily menu development. Previous experience to Senior Sous Chef as a minimum with a varied background in Hotels and Restaurants.
The season starts on Friday 3rd June and they would be required to start on Wednesday 1st June finishing on or around 18 October 2016.
