BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS / Cooper Island Beach Club

Our Caribbean resort is looking for couples to fill any two of the following positions from May 2016.

Boat Captain – Must have a minimum of RYA Day Skipper or equivilant and 5 years experience operating diesel and outboard vessels. This position involves guest and staff transfers, collecting supplies and disposal of waste materials and assisting with maintenance all other times.

Chefs: required to join our expanding kitchen team, NVQ Level 3 or higher and at least 2 years experience working in a high volume kitchen in a similar position.

Wait Staff / Boutique Sales: Individual with Front of House and retail experience to assist in our restaurant and resort boutique. Must enjoy guest contact and be of a very caring and bubbly personality.

All applicants must be willing to live full-time on the island, working split-shifts, evenings, weekends & public holidays and must be able to live in close quarters with other employees. A one year Work Permit is required for all Nationalities subject to approval by the Labour and Immigration Departments and can be easily renewed each year. If you have a criminal record, including juvenile offences or major health issues, approval will be denied. Package includes – salary, accommodation, employee meals, service charge, gratuities, bonus.

Applicants must be able to speak, read & write business-English and previous experience in the Caribbean or remote locations with limited amenities will be a distinct advantage.
