This organization works on several topics in the field of sustainability like alternative energies, forest ecosystem management, contamination, water treatment, environmental education. Their main goals are to promote the participation and empowerment of the local civil society to protect their own environment. They promote and organize joint actions to conserve and restore natural resources and participate in the study and education of local environmental issues.
Tasks:
• You offer workshops and education about environmental issues
• You do experimental work considering techniques and alternative methods to solve local environmental problems
• Work schedule:Flexible;please talk to the director of the project to agree on a schedule
• Vacations:Easter week, Christmas
Accommodation, Benefits and Costs:
• You can stay with a host family (from 50 US$/ week incl. breakfast). You can also live in the project (on request)
• ProyectoMosaico books your lodging, Spanish school and your transportation from the airport, furthermore we offer individual assistance provided by the office in Granada before, throughout and after your stay
• For our work and our services we ask a one-time-only fee of 250€ – regardless of the length of your stay
Requirements:
• Minimum stay: 2 months
• Spanish level: Intermediate
• Skills and expertise: Basic knowledge of methods to approach environmental topics, experience in community work, project management skills
