MALAYSIA / Rimba Resort
We are looking for an assistant manager for our Front of House team. We have a team of 31 staff, a mix of people from all over the world. The team you would be managing is roughly 10-15 people. The resort, at full capacity can accommodate 60 guests. Our guests are predominantly expatriates living in Singapore although in the summer we have guests from all over the world.
We are looking for someone:
*who has hotel or resort management experience (includes bar/restaurant/housekeeping/logistic)
* who is exceptionally organised
* who has exceptional customer service skills
We need someone who has a thick skin, who maintains motivation, someone who is culturally aware and culturally sensitive, ready to work with anyone from any background.
It is essential that you have great social skills, understand you will work long hours and are still eager to learn.
Over the next year we plan on opening an office on the mainland and one of our current resort managers will be spending more time there – your job will be to fill her role on the island and help implement systems that assist with communication between the resort and main land office. Essentially you will become the face at Rimba that our guests recognize and connect with.
