Hostess and waitress also follow similar criteria to the job posted for bartender but we focus mostly on attitude as we are able to train – the must have had some working experience. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred. If the candidate has never worked in a bar they should realise the environment – it is smoky at times. They will carry drinks on a tray to tables in low level lighting, so they need to know the work requires you to stand and use some energy – this is not a job like a secretary sitting at a desk making phone calls. When Hostessing the candidate will be required to make and receive calls so should have a clear speaking voice. Preferred age would be 22-26. Salary and benefits are negotiable but include flights, housing, food and insurances.
