LEBANON / Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand
The Bar Manager should have qualifications and have formerly been a cocktail bartender, preferably worked in a five star environment [international experience even better] with staff management skills, if not a high level independent cocktail bar or lounge. We are not looking for someone with a “pub” or beer hall background. The ideal candidate needs to be able to train and guide others, thus they should have training skills and conduct regular training as part of their current [or former] job functions and they must have leadership qualities.
A Hilton background is preferred but not necessary as long as certain skills and attributes are present, such as an understanding of teamwork and a positive attitude. It is advantageous to have worked with a computerized point of sale system, preferably Micros [other modern systems accepted such a Squirrel, Aloha NCR or Renmanco]. We need a presentable individual with fluent English [read |write] who is willing to work hard and is interested to forge a career with Hilton, for this reason we need a single status candidate. Ideally 1.68 mtrs in height or taller, fit & healthy with an athletic figure, they are working in a 5 star hotel so should be attractive with excellent personal presentation and grooming.
The successful candidate should be commercially astute in-so-far as they are able to read a P&L and explain it if questioned, a more detailed financial understanding is welcome but we can train further on this – they should at least know the relationship between income and expenses and how to control a small business unit with a profit motive. It is important they understand profit and what is required to achieve [or exceed] a monthly sales target. Preferred age would be 27-30 [maximum 35 yo]. Salary and benefits are negotiable which include flights, housing, food and insurances.
We are looking for a female candidate only.
