The individual will ensure that the restaurant operate efficiently, will coordinate a variety of activities, and maintain high standards of food and service with a hands-on approach.
The individual will be responsible for actively ensuring a superior guest experience through accommodating and knowledgeable service as well as supporting the team by organizing, planning and directing activities in all aspects of bar and dining areas.
Main responsibilities
Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.
Responding to customer complaints.
Advising customers on menu and wine choice.
Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Managing staff and providing them with feedback.
Organising and supervising the shifts of restaurant waiting and cleaning staff.
Hands-on support and lead service staff, jumping in where necessary.
Assisting in development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards.
Assisting in setting events, organizing table layouts and coordinating with the customers.
Training staff on service, food and wine.
Responsible of staff uniform condition and availability at any time.
Qualifications
2+ years of restaurant experience in similar position.
Bachelor degree in Marketing/PR/ F&B will be considered as advantage.
Excellent command of the English and Greek language.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
Ability to use restaurant POS system and payment processing.
