Job Description
The lecturer plays a key professional role in lesson delivery, as well as achieving successful student learning and development outcomes. You are responsible for the development of curriculum and delivery of courses, including the setting, vetting, marking and moderating assignments and examination scripts.
Areas of Concentration
You should be able to facilitate student learning and develop curricula in one or more of the areas below:
– Hotel Operations, Housekeeping and Front-Desk Operations
– Food and Beverage Operations
– Service Quality, Delivery and Management
– Hotel Operations Management
– Food and Beverage Operations Management
– Hospitality IT Management & Applications
– Hotel Law
– Travel and Tourism Management
– Managing Tourist Destination & Services
– Business Studies
Requirements
You should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university, with more than 5 years of working experience in the hospitality and tourism field, or/and experience in training, learning development and other projects in the same field.
You should be highly organised and efficient, a clear thinker and meticulous with your work. In addition, you must be an effective team player with strong skills in communication, people management and development. Last but most importantly, you must have a passion for teaching.
Pre-Requisites
Min. Education Level : Bachelors Degree
Field of Study : Hospitality / Business Management
Years of Experience Required : 5 years of relevant working experience
Language : English
