Malia Slides are now looking for fun, confident, enthusiastic, reliable, friendly and hardworking guys & girls, people who would enjoy entertaining lively & wild party people. We are looking a selection of seasonal staff as follows.
Host or Hostess (game master/ess)
Looking for someone who is good at entertaining girls & guys in & around a large pool area. You will need to very good on a microphone, good at organizing games of fun, crazy, naughty and wild in the pool & outside the pool for youth orientated (18-25) holiday party guests. Plus be open-minded as Malia is a wild resort
You need to be 20-25 y.o., have good organizing skills, lead a team, able to swim, know proven games for the youth (drinking & eating games, games for guys & girls, contest, swimwear, pool T-shirt etc) audience. Follow instructions & direction, be able to run the actives giving other team player direction. Have some great sales & promotion skills. Able to interact with the youth audience to give them an extraordinary at a swimming pool park.
Dancers, promo girls & guys x 3-4
You have to a fantastic fun personally, be great at socializing with young adults (age 18-25), lively & sometimes crazy party holiday guests. You will need to be talented, talkative, fairly attractive, have a fun personality, comfortable wearing shorts/hot pants & t-shirts/vest tops, positively be able to talk to strangers & drunk & sometime rude people. Be open-minded & get engage with fun & cheeky games which helps guests to involved You need to know variety of dance styles, good movement skills and able to do dance movement in the pool. Ideally, you should have at least 18 months -2 years experience or seeking to gain more experience. Very pro-active, good at selling and promoting.
This job is 100% mingling with lively holiday guests. 1 will lead the dance & promo team.
Photo/Video filming assistant
Looking for someone to be part of the team to capture all the fun pack live action of the pool games, fun and wild antics of the day. Must be hard-working & have plenty of stamina, outgoing personality, good superb skills, fun mind & the spirit of life. You will need to be good at interacting with the party guests to get sales. You need to have some video editing skills, (nothing fancy) know how to burn DVD, able to work under pressure & meet deadlines, as the guest are only in Malia for a week or so. Have plenty energy to get finished results to hotels.
