CAMBODIA / Frontier
For all its magnificence, Cambodia remains one of the poorest countries in South East Asia. The majority of Cambodians live in impoverished rural areas and with the population in Cambodia steadily growing, problems are emerging; a lack of educational facilities, inadequate infrastructural development, and insufficient employment prospects are now commonly found throughout the country.
This project will present you with the unique opportunity to work with enthusiastic and lively Cambodians and contribute to providing an improved quality of life for rural communities. You may become involved in anything from teaching and playing with local school children, to village restoration and beach clean-ups, and other community development initiatives. The work you’ll carry out will be rewarding, challenging, and hugely beneficial, as well as being fantastic fun. You will gain immense satisfaction from knowing that all your efforts are going towards improving the quality of life for so many people. Take part in this once in a life time opportunity and never look back!
