Bushwise Field Guides offers a six-month FGASA-accredited Professional Field Guide course in a prime game-viewing area of Limpopo. Bushwise is a highly professional training provider, offering students the opportunity to have the ultimate experience working in the African wildlife while improving their employability in the conservation industry.

The six month course includes comprehensive practical and theoretical training in tracking, mammals, animal behaviour, 4×4 skills, big calibre rifle skills, practical game drive experience and bush walks. Upon completion of the courses, you will gain qualifications such as FGASA Level 1, FGASA Trails Guide theory, Advanced Rifle Handling, Cybertracker certification, SASSETA certification, First Aid certificate and much more!

Bushwise also offers an optional six-month placement following the training period. While the FGASA course is field guide related, the skills and experience you gain are key for international conservation employers, in a range of fields. In support of this, Bushwise offers a range of alternative placement options which provide experience in more wider-ranging areas in the conservation, research and field guiding industries.
