Looking for a challenge in 2015? Then we have a Head Chef position available for the 2015 Summer Season.
We are a 15 bedroom Family run Hotel based at 1950 meters with a 70 cover Restaurant and 40 cover Terrace in the car-free Resort of the Aletsch Arena in Riederalp, Wallis. A great place for walking, mountain biking, paragliding, golf, tennis, etc.
Profile? An individual who is Motivated, can work Independently and within a Team and who has previous experience in Hotels and Restaurants. The role also requires the Team member to be able to speak German.
Head Chef: Full responsibility for the day to day kitchen operations including (but not limited to), Day to day menu’s, liaising directly with the owner regarding all operational matters, supply chain management including ordering twice a week, maintaining and driving standards incl Food Safety, Health & Safety and assisting with daily menu development. Previous experience to Senior Sous Chef as a minimum with a varied background in Hotels and Restaurants.
The season starts on Friday 12 June and they would be required to start on Friday 5 June 2015 finishing on or around 14 October 2015.
