Marine Conservation & Teaching Volunteer Opportunities, Fiji

FIJI / WorkingAbroad Projects

Become a community development, teaching or marine conservation volunteer in Fiji. This project aims to improve the provision of basic needs and amenities for villages throughout the Yasawa Islands in Fiji.

You can volunteer in Fiji for 1 week up to 6 months in duration, and we have places throughout 2014 & 2015.

Individuals, groups and students are all welcome.

The cost for accommodation at island base camp, food, equipment, training & supervision, transportation when at the project, donation, boat transfers to and from the mainland starts at £635.

Volunteer in Fiji and work alongside locals and other volunteers on specialised projects. The focus of this programme is on helping the villagers of the Yasawa Islands achieve access to basic needs including water, power, nutrition and education, and helping to build a sustainable future for these villages. If a volunteer holiday in Fiji, combined with the opportunity to lend a helping hand to people in need is what you’re looking for, then this is the project for you. Currently there are 3 main Fiji volunteer projects which you can join.
