Whether you are working on a 34 day trip around Europe or based on site in one of our catering hubs in France, Italy or Switzerland, the one thing that brings all those who work for us and travel with us together is…food! Topdeck’s reputation when it comes to food is second to none and that is all down to our catering team.

You will be responsible for everything to do with food from planning menus, budgeting and purchasing food to preparing it hygienically and looking after the equipment. You will work hard and face challenges in creating delicious meals traditional to the country you are visiting, taking into consideration the nationalities, dietary requirements and allergies of the clients.

But, you are not only a Topdeck Chef but a Topdeck crew member. This means that you also assist your fellow crew, trip leaders and drivers, in the day to day running of trips. You must always be polite and friendly towards clients and assist with client entertainment; support clients and crew through difficult situations, for example, illness, accidents, loss of property, etc; and most importantly, maintain a positive outlook always and regardless of what is going on around you.
