Winter Camp Dates: 10 JANUARY – 30 MAY 2014

The programme intends to offer Spanish secondary school children, of 11-12 years of age the chance to spend a week immersed in English, with a variety of workshops, sports and other activities in the company of native speaking teaching staff. Groups of around 50 children will come with from individual schools, with 2 of their own teachers, as chaperones and will spend from Monday morning to Friday lunchtime with us at the Youth Hostel. All actitivies will be done in English and they will be accompanied by our staff at all times. The activities include: NATURE TRAILS, RECYCLING, LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES, SONG WRITING, ROLE PLAY, SCRAPBOOKING, MAKING VIDEOS, ANIMATION, PHOTOGRAPHY, SPORTS, MUSIC, DANCE…so we need people with lots of energy and specific skills in any of these areas.
Application Process
Initial placements will be made in December 2013 and we will help all those interested in extending their stay with summer work or private tuition.
