Buckswood International School requires for 4th January 2014 start date – a Assistant House Mistress to live at Guestling Hall, the main girl’s house along with the Head of House and Junior House Mistreess. Pastoral care, sports, crafts, drama – a good alrounder is required who has energy and vision. Someone fun but this person must also be able to maintain discipline.
Guestling Hall is situated in its own grounds in a quiet location at Guestling in East Sussex. Our HofH is very supportive and will ensure that you are set on the right track.
Ideally you will be a qualified driver with own transport as we are semi-rural – although there is an excellent bus route to Hastings and Rye.
We are an international school and so always welcome applications from the EC who give a more cosmopolitan mix in the house.
You should not be afraid to make a fool of yourself from time to time and like to take part in sports/hobbies/crafts/cooking/sewing etc -in fact a good all rounder who can contribute to school life.
Be an early riser with a positive outlook and cheerful disposition who can maintain standards of school discipline. Starting Salary £13000.00 G.P.A. all found ie no bills to pay except your own telephone.
