Trainee in prime Spanish locations to start ASAP! It takes place in Madrid.
All are candidates must be over 18. No prior experience is required. We accept people with very different sets of skills and experience. If you are drawn to teaching or simply are looking for a temporary change of career, this experience will be fruitful.
DO I RECEIVE COMPENSATION DURING MY TRAINING?
• FREE Accommodation is provided, during your internship. It will be a single room in a shared flat belonging to the partner school where you will be carrying out the placement.
• FREE Medical Insurance is provided by Partner School.
• Timetables are from Monday to Friday or Saturday for a 40-hour week: timetables depend on the time of year one and city. Compensation is given for travel expenses at food and is therefore based on attendance. It is at a fixed rate of 300GBP pm. Receipts must be provided by our intern (the total amount does not have to be reached but a minimum of 200GBP is required).
WHY IS OUR TEFL INTERNSHIP SO POPULAR?
Our teacher training internship has proven to be very well-liked, as it provides our interns with a vast set of skills and very concrete experience.
• It starts every second week throughout the whole year
• It lasts between 6 and 9 months
• Gap Year Internship agreements with universities also possible
• The hands-on teaching placement takes place in exciting Spanish cities.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
• The induction lasts 2 days in London or directly in Spain: this gives our interns a general overview of the tasks
• From week 1 onwards in Madrid, there are 2 weekly training sessions: one on Skype and another assignment via email, so as to discuss classroom situations with the academic director or your mentor. This guarantees on-going development.
• You get to teach 40 hours per week to gain as much teaching experience as possible. You teach One-to-One classes of English to Spanish adults. Groups are also an option in some cities.
WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
• You will learn how to tutor adults One-to-One and in reduced Groups, in General English but also Exam Preparation (PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS, TOEFL, BEC).
• You will also learn more about admin and class planning.
• You receive valuable work experience and a TEFL Certificate* upon
completion.

ARE THERE ANY REQUIREMENTS?
• Prior experience not required. Our in-house training covers everything from general to exam English & one-to-one to teaching groups
• You must just be enthusiastic and a team player
• English has to be your first language
• Having a degree is a plus but not a must
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Must have the right to live in Spain
