Project Manager for Outreach Programme, Life Skills Programme and the Rainbow House

Kiya Survivors is a UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs in Peru.

General Responsibilities:
To provide leadership, strategic direction, management, finances and evaluation of all aspects of Kiya Survivors projects based at The Rainbow House, The Outreach Programme and the Life Skills project in Urubamba, Cusco, Peru in consultation with the Project Coordinator, UK Managing Director and UK Coordinators.
To be responsible for overseeing the hiring of staff for assigned projects in Peru, assigning and supervising work of the team alongside the Centre’s Director/ Project Coordinator.
To represent Kiya Survivors’ Managing Director in Peru and to execute additional tasks set by UK office as required.

Financial Management
To be responsible for the administration of financial and material resources including control of purchasing and distribution of materials, keeping accurate invoicing and payment records and maintaining up to date supplier records.
Provide complete financial reports detailing all spending and income on a monthly basis.

Project Management
To work with the Project Coordinator of the Rainbow Centre and the UK office to ensure the projects are continually working to improve outcomes for all children/ families including a system for monitoring and evaluating progress and outcomes.
To manage all staff, finances, scheduling and planning for the Rainbow House, a children´s home in Urubamba.
To implement an Outreach Programme, designed to raise the quality of life of children with special needs and their families, with a small team of local specialists.
To develop curriculum and monitor progress of a Life Skills class to help young adults with special needs reach their personal highest level of independence.
To provide the UK office with monthly evaluations of student and project progress

The salary paid is a living wage in Peru.
