Volunteer & Teach: 1-5 months in Montezuma, Costa Rica

Escuela Futuro Verde (www.futuro-verde.org) is a non-profit international school based near the renowned hippy hideout of Montezuma, on the west coast of Costa Rica.

We offer an array of volunteer opportunities and there are several areas of work where you could offer your skills including; assisting in classroom instruction, organizing after-school programs and leading outreach efforts with educational organizations in the region.

Details
• work around 25 hours/week
• costs – living expenses only – $200 per month

Requirements:
• some knowledge of Spanish
• teaching experience
• optional additional experience or mastery (art, music, physical education, theatre, language, relevant trade)

Benefits:
• mid-morning snack and lunch during school week
• private accommodation in fully equipped house located between Cobano and Montezuma
• open opportunites to initiate programs and workshops

Unlike other non-profit organizations in the area, we ask for no fees from our volunteers – only a strong commitment to improving the lives of children in the Southern Nicoya Peninsula. While we do not charge, we have high standards for the people we work with and are seeking only accomplished, dedicated, and creative professionals who are willing to commit to making a difference in our corner of the world.
