This nature reserve strives to preserve endemic mountain fynbos vegetation and associated wildlife. Volunteers help out with whatever needs doing at the time of their stay. Activities include trail maintenance, gardening, infrastructure development (building hides, bridges, etc), guest house related work, and possibly helping out with research / conservation work (field work on cape mountain leopards, birds, plants, etc).
Volunteers receive free accommodation and food.
